Structured Capital for Real-World Film Production

Carbon Arc Media provides producers, distributors, and executive teams with access to structured financing solutions tailored for film and television production. Whether you're in early development, locked picture, or preparing delivery, we help connect viable projects with smart, stage-appropriate capital, backed by decades of hands-on experience across production, finance, and delivery.

We're not a lender. We originate and support execution-ready projects, and coordinate with aligned financing groups.

How We Structure Capital

Bridge or Interim Financing

Short-term loans advanced against committed incoming funds, typically used in early prep. Allows producers to secure talent or lock schedules before the primary bank loan closes. Repaid from the closed loan facility along with a standard interest rate and financing fee.

Post Production / Completion Loans

Capital provided once principal photography is complete but additional funds are required to complete post and finalize delivery. Structured to bridge the final stage of production.

Gap Financing

Secured against unsold territory estimates or a portion of projected international sales. Often used to close finance plans where a portion of the budget remains uncovered by equity, soft money, or pre-sales. Requires support from a reputable sales agent.

Tax Credit Financing

Advance against anticipated federal, state, or international tax incentives. Structured to cash-flow a portion of the rebate or transferable credit. Used to cover production costs and repaid on receipt of incentive funds.

Acquisition Funds / Finishing Funds

Capital provided to sales agents or distributors to acquire completed films or late-stage post projects. Often used to secure rights ahead of festival delivery, M&A events, or international markets.

Sales Agent Advances

Financing collateralized entirely by estimated international sales value, as determined by a qualified sales agent. Typically restricted to experienced producers and sales representatives with strong historical performance.

Media Production Participation

In select cases, Carbon Arc will co-develop or co-finance productions that are creatively sound, commercially positioned, and structured for successful delivery.

Risk-Control, Delivery-Aligned Financing

We work with producers who understand that financing is only useful when it's aligned with real delivery goals. Every financing plan we touch is evaluated with downstream execution in mind: from first cash flow to final asset delivery.

Every project we finance is structured with delivery in mind. See our Delivery & Legal Package Services →

Completion Guaranteed (FFI Eligible)

On Schedule. On Budget.

Through our relationship with FFI and equivalent completion guarantors, we ensure the production is structured for bond eligibility and real-world finish. We don't just start projects. We guide them to completion and delivery.

Every production we oversee is built around firm milestones and cost control. Our support is tied to real accountability, built to protect the producer, the investor, and the project.
