The Problem We Solve
When an international distributor acquires a US independent film, the delivery package is the distributor's responsibility to obtain from the producer. But producers often don't have delivery infrastructure. Documents are scattered across multiple vendors, masters aren't built to your technical specifications, territory-specific requirements aren't addressed, and compliance gaps don't surface until your business affairs team starts reviewing.
This is expensive to fix downstream. We handle the entire delivery on behalf of the producer, to your specifications. You get a complete, compliant package on your timeline.
What You Receive
A complete, production-ready delivery package that satisfies your platform, territory, and distribution requirements:
- Legal documentation package: Chain of title, errors and omissions insurance (E&O), music clearances and cue sheets, credit documentation, copyright registration, guild documentation (WGA, SAG-AFTRA, DGA where applicable)
- Physical masters: IMF (Interoperable Master Format) for theatrical and premium VOD, DCP (Digital Cinema Package) if required, ProRes master for streaming platforms, HDR versions (Dolby Vision, HDR10), textless elements for localization, M&E (music and effects) track for international dubbing
- Technical specifications: Every master built to your exact delivery specifications — color grading, frame rates, audio specifications, subtitle and caption formatting, quality control reports
- Territory compliance: Coordinated clearances and versioning for your target territories, rights verification, localization preparation
Territory-Specific Compliance
Every territory and platform has different requirements. We handle the coordination:
- Platform-specific QC: Netflix, Lionsgate, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Apple TV, and additional streaming platforms have specific technical and documentation requirements. We manage QC to platform specification.
- Territory compliance: UK (BBFC), Germany (FSK), Japan (CERO), Australia (ACB), Canada, South Korea, and 20+ additional markets have different legal and technical requirements. We coordinate with your legal and business affairs team to ensure compliance.
- Multi-territory versioning: Textless elements for dubbing and subtitle insertion, M&E track preparation, language-specific metadata, rights verification by territory
How This Works
The process is straightforward. You send us your delivery schedule — the line items you need, technical specifications, territory requirements, and deadline. We review it, confirm scope with the producer and their post team, and execute every line item.
You receive the completed package ready for your business affairs team to review and QC. If something needs revision — color timing, a missing document, a metadata adjustment — we handle it. One point of contact. One invoice. Done.
US Liaison Services
Many international distributors have no US-based infrastructure or legal presence. We serve as your on-the-ground delivery partner in the US.
We coordinate directly with the producer, the post-production facilities, legal counsel, your business affairs department, and any third-party vendors. Single point of contact in the US for the entire delivery process. We translate your requirements to the producer's team, track progress, manage revisions, and deliver the final package to your specifications.
Your Next Step
If any distributors on your current acquisition schedule are in our roster, we've already delivered to them. It's worth a conversation. Send us your delivery schedule and let's talk about timeline and scope.
